Transcript: | Recorded: by Jayde Stevenson Transcript by Jayde Stevenson Capitalist system that is about making money and growth of money, and there is little space for actually growth as a human being… there… there is no value really for capitalists to have a society that has good values and empathy and love. That is… that is like (inaudible) so I think such change would require economical change as well. A different way of how we feel about money and so on. And that’s just not possible in this capitalist system because the core of capitalist system is about making money and then rest of it- it doesn’t really matter. If we really want to change, we have to change also the economical way of working things and… and different economics system that doesn’t focus on money. That will require a big change without being you know like ‘oh well we cant do anything about it’, um… I think what I… if we all just did our bit wherever we are… it doesn’t matter if its only helping one person and that might not change anything, maybe not even for that person but that bring back that closeness to the other… to the other person, you know that, so that for a moment we don’t just focus on… on the self. We are in a society where its all about me and what I want and what I need. Um… if maybe we turn that off that for a bit and have a look at what the other person needs. Whether they need help, whether they need just a listening ear, or whether you know… whatever that is, I think… that’s just a start you know. If we could all do that I think that would be a positive way. |
